In this 3 October 2026 published video, host Cash Jordan talks about how the claim stems from major military action in 2026, during which President Donald Trump ordered targeted U.S. airstrikes which destroyed critical Iranian transport infrastructure, including major bridges.

As part of an escalating military conflict with Iran, the U.S. military and Central Command (CENTCOM) expanded their bombing campaigns throughout 2026. In March and April 2026, U.S.-led airstrikes hit the newly constructed B1 suspension bridge near Tehran (connecting Tehran to Karaj), splitting it in half. President Trump shared a video of the collapse on social media, warning Iranian leadership to “make a deal” before nothing is left. In July 2026, U.S. airstrikes further expanded deeper into Iran, destroying additional bridges in the southern Hormozgan province (such as near Bandar Khamir) and cutting off key logistical routes. Alongside hitting inland transport infrastructure, the Trump administration enforced a severe naval blockade using U.S. aircraft carriers and destroyers. This has effectively halted the vast majority of Iran’s maritime trade, choking off its oil revenue and cutting off the flow of goods.

U.S. Central Command carried out consecutive nights of airstrikes targeting bridges, logistics routes, and infrastructure in regions including Hormozgan province (such as Bandar Khamir) and near major access points to Bandar Abbas, aiming to disrupt the movement of military materiel and degrade Iran’s capacity to threaten shipping.

President Trump stated that future attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz would be met with further destruction of Iranian infrastructure. Iranian state media and officials condemned the strikes as attacks on civilian infrastructure, warning of retaliatory actions against regional energy facilities and U.S. interests.

While these actions have heavily crippled Iran’s internal transport, disrupted logistics, and devastated its economy, they are part of a targeted enforcement campaign to pressure the Iranian regime into a diplomatic deal rather than physically locking the entire population inside its borders.
