In 2024 and 2025, she broke her silence to share her experience of being groomed and assaulted on Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, starting in the early 2000s when she was 21.
Phillips was invited to the island in the early 2000s by a girlfriend under the guise of a modeling photoshoot in the Caribbean. She described being lured by promises of career opportunities and meetings with high-profile figures, including Prince Andrew. She was pressured into giving Epstein a “massage” that escalated into sexual assault.
Phillips continued to be in contact with Epstein’s circle afterward, only later realizing the extent of the grooming and manipulation. She suppressed the trauma for years, only fully confronting it after Epstein’s death in 2019, which she said finally made her feel “free” to speak out.
Phillips has become a prominent advocate, appearing on programs like RTE’s Late Late Show and speaking at events on Capitol Hill. She is a fierce advocate for the full release of Epstein files and documents, stating that the current releases are insufficient and continue to protect powerful individuals. In 2026, she announced that she and other survivors are working together to confidentially compile a list of Epstein’s associates to ensure accountability.
As of early 2026, Lisa Phillips continues to campaign for justice and, along with other survivors, has attended congressional events to pressure the Department of Justice for more transparency.
